Improvement discovered in Windows Vista

A top screen capturologist (that's me) discovered an advantage in the new Vista aero glass interface. I found it's no problem capturing media players and game windows. In the past, it was often necessary to turn off "hardware acceleration", as described here:

Incredibly, Microsoft is paying me nothing for this weak praise. Perhaps a customer lucky enough to have a Blu-ray drive can tell us if it's possible to use the glass interface to capture high-definition (HD) video without Digital Rights Management (DRM) Image Constraint Token (ICT) "downsampling" (resolution reduction)?

Note, we still don't recommend Vista's aero glass interface because it's sooo slow and incompatible with scroll capture. Here's how to turn it on or off:

1 On the taskbar, click Start / Control Panel.
2 Under Appearance and Personalization, click Customize Colors.
3 Click Open Classic Appearance Properties.
4 For color scheme, select Aero, Basic, Standard or Classic

At least one person, Bob, read last month's newsletter and he wrote to point out that George Bush is president, not me. At least for a while. I admit, being president of PixelMetrics isn't quite the same thing. I don't get "Camp Dave" or even a plane. But at this point in history, I prefer my job.

Last month, there was an unfortunate leak of these spy cam photos. When we find the guilty party, his computer will be upgraded to Vista.
