CaptureWizPro updated for 64-bit Vista.

It seems the switch to 64-bit computing is on. More and more customers tell us their new computers come with Windows 64-bit Vista. What's driving the change is cheap memory and that 64-bit Vista is required to properly manage anything more than about 3GB of RAM.

CaptureWizPro 4.0 runs well under 64-bit Vista, but we want it to run perfectly. So, after about 50 tweaks, it's now 100% compatible. If you have 64-bit Vista, please check out this new version, 4.02 beta:

This version also includes a few minor improvements for smoother recording, remembering audio channels, saving temporary files and setting the color of the capture bar tab. Read all about it at the above link.

When we release the final version, it'll be a free update for those who have purchased version 4.0.

PJ uses CaptureWizPro to capture day-trading action while he does "spreadbetting on stock markets and Forex". I have no idea what that is but it sounds intense. He says he runs up to 40 live trades at a time and manages to stay on top of it all by capturing the vital information to sticky notes. He says it's easy - at least the CaptureWiz part.

I want to thank Jamie for his outside-the-box idea for a future version of CWP that renders whatever you capture to your desktop, your real physical desktop, in 3D! Now that would be cool. Unfortunately for Jamie, his ideas would lead to moral and legal complications.
