If you have it, here’s how to turn off that annoying "feature”. Open Rapport's Console, click the "Security Policy" tab and for the "Block Screen Capturing" field select Never. Thanks Mike! -------------------------------------------------------------------- Tip - Watch videos first, then record them. -------------------------------------------------------------------- Sometimes when playing videos over the web, the dreaded wait icon appears, especially on slow connections. Who wants to record that? Not Rich M. He suggests first watch the video, then record it. That often eliminates the wait because on the second showing the signal comes from your hard disk instead of the web. -------------------------------------------------------------------- Customer story - free movie treats thanks to CaptureWiz. -------------------------------------------------------------------- Clever Amelia beat the stingy website that refused to print her onscreen coupons for movie treats by printing them with CWP. She reports that CaptureWizPro saved her $8 bucks, sweet! -------------------------------------------------------------------- CaptureWiz as an instrument of science. -------------------------------------------------------------------- Franklin D needed to monitor a web site for errors. We suggested recording the site overnight, at a slow rate like 1 fps, then play it back the next day, at any speed, to watch how the errors develop. Then we realized you could do this with any scientific instruments that display live data on screen, such weather gauges, paranormal activity sensors or extraterrestrial radio receivers. Simply record the readouts for later playback and proof of your findings! Isn't science fun? -------------------------------------------------------------------- Super Scroll - the future of scroll capture. -------------------------------------------------------------------- For those curious about the new scroll capture tool mentioned in the last newsletter, the good news is we've finally decided on a name! Just kidding, we haven't yet decided on the name. But the overpaid staff at our prestigious Capture Research Center, otherwise known as Dave, reports that his brainstorm is working great! The prototype can scroll capture any program, any page and even drop-downs like the Word font list. If fact, it easily captures just about everything we throw at it, in any direction and it grabs only the portion you want. How can you get it? Watch for the next CaptureWiz beta test in this newsletter. That's it for now, we've probably already revealed too much, so please forget everything you just read. -------------------------------------------------------------------- Contact Info -------------------------------------------------------------------- PixelMetrics: http://www.PixelMetrics.com Please send comments, suggestions and any wisdom you’re not using to: dave@PixelMetrics.com Newsletter Archive: http://www.pixelmetrics.com/cgi-bin/mojo/mojo.cgi?f=list&l=new To unsubscribe, click here (or copy & paste the address into your browser): http://www.pixelmetrics.com/cgi-bin/mojo/mojo.cgi?f=u&l=new&e=[email]&p=[pin] To subscribe, click here: http://www.pixelmetrics.com/CaptureWiz/CwNewsSub.htm To change your address, first unsubscribe, then follow the link to re-subscribe using your new address.
