New scroll tool captures hearts of testers, now available for all.

I’m thrilled to report that our new scroll tool passed beta testing with flying colors and impressed almost everyone. It’s available now as part of CaptureWizPro version 5.0.

The new scroll tool captures darn near anything that scrolls, horizontally or vertically. You need it because old methods don’t work reliably any more. One reason is that new operating systems use the Graphical Processing Unit (GPUs) instead of the Central Processing Unit (CPU) to draw the screen. Another reason is that automatic updates, particularly in web browsers, constantly change the way things are drawn. A third is that the new user account control (UAC) interferes with program to program communication. All these issues created a need for a new tool that keeps up with technology. The new method does staggering amounts of processing, but I found ways to make it go fast. Really fast.

Other new features in version 5.0 are timed recording, background video conversion and support for foreign language characters.
