A new beta test version of CaptureWiz fixes screen magnification problems.

A new beta test version of CaptureWiz is available for those using the latest version of Windows, version 8.1, and screen magnification. People often use screen magnification when they can’t read the tiny text that appears on high resolution monitors. The problem is, Microsoft quietly added a new magnification system to Windows 8.1 that doesn’t work with CaptureWiz. We discovered this while updating CaptureWiz for Windows 10. This version solves the problem. Check it out and give us your feedback to get the next version of CaptureWiz, 6.0, for free. Or, at the end of the test, if you decide you don’t want to upgrade, you can continue using your paid version of CaptureWiz by clicking Help / Revert to Prior Version.

Microsoft finally responds to Dave’s criticism and brings back the start menu!
--------------------------------------------------------------------
It took years, but Windows 10 finally returns the start menu and boots to the desktop, hooray! We don’t see significant improvements in Windows 10 and it still pushes unwanted Microsoft services and Metro apps, but we’re cheering anyway.

One nice thing about Windows 10 is no special procedures are needed to capture Metro apps. Microsoft claims this will be the edition of Windows you’ll love. Yes, they actually use the word “love.” So if you find your serotonin levels responding to the sweet electrical vibrations of this lovable new OS, thank Dave!

Just kidding, Microsoft doesn’t listen to Dave.

Print anything on your Android phone to your home printer.

We discovered that you can print anything on your Android phone to your home printer, for free, from anywhere, anytime! No special printer is required. After completing the troublesome setup, it’s reliable and easy. To print from many apps, all you need to do is tap Menu / Print. For anything else, you can take a screenshot by pressing the Home and Power buttons simultaneously, then open the screenshot in the Gallery app, then tap Menu / Print.
