Savvy customer Richard M became annoyed with newspaper sites, such as the Miami Herald, that briefly show pages, then cover them with subscription offers. His clever solution is to simply press the F10 hotkey when the page appears. Then you can spend as long as you like reading it. When done, right-click anywhere to cancel the screen capture.

He also found some sites cover content with a dark shade to force you to pay to view. Richard used CaptureWiz to remove the shading by first capturing the content, then clicking the Edit button on the output toolbar to open the screen capture in Microsoft Paint, and finally using Paint's Fill tool to replace the dark background with white. Voila - hidden treasure revealed!

Savvy customer Yvonne B stores hundreds of pictures on Facebook, but became annoyed how long it took to find one of those pictures, sometimes it took Facebook over 30 minutes to show all the thumbnails. So one time, after waiting the 30 minutes, she scroll captured the whole lot and saved them to her desktop. Now she can see them all instantly by double-clicking a shortcut on her desktop.

Savvy customer Walter B enjoyed using his mouse wheel to capture scrolling areas, that is, until upgrading to Windows 10. It turns out, on Windows 10, you need to click the scrolling area, and then the mouse wheel will work perfectly.
