High-resolution monitor fix.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Many people find they need screen magnification with their high-resolution monitors. The problem is, it can cause your screen to change size when starting screen captures. Windows 10 may turn on screen magnification without telling you, especially after plugging in a new monitor. The fix is to sign out of Windows and back in.

We used to advise people to restart the computer, but sadly, that no longer works reliably. Thank you savvy customer Richard D. for letting us know! Instead, do what Microsoft recommends, sign out of Windows and back in. Here's how:

1 On the Windows 10 start panel, click Users, the head and shoulders icon.
2 On the popup window, click Sign out.
3 On the Windows startup screen, sign in.

Tips for collecting screenshots in Microsoft Office.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
We hear that Microsoft Office users often prefer using Office tools to collect and organize screenshots, instead of Windows file folders. Savvy customer Richard M suggests pasting screenshots into Excel. Surprisingly, Excel handles images nicely, better than Word, allowing you to move or resize them at will! Also, you can store collections of images on separate tabs, called Sheets.

Another great Office tool for organizing screenshots is One Note, which enables you to drop screenshots, text and links onto pages in virtual notebooks. One Note is a rare Microsoft gem that actually IS powerful, flexible and easy to use.

Richard says he collects tons of screenshots while taking online professional courses. Whenever he has questions about the material, he captures screenshots to discuss with the instructor or other students. Smart!
