Three ways to share screen captures.

The easiest way to share a screen capture is to click Copy on the output toolbar ...

... then Paste (CTRL + V) the image into an email, document or image editor.

But sometimes there�s no paste option, you need the path to the screenshot. For example, sending a screenshot to your doctor:

No problem! After capture, on the output toolbar, click Path:

Or, to use a recent screenshot, click Pics on the capture bar ...

... to open the Viewer.

Then, in the Viewer, select an image and click Path:

Finally, paste (CTRL + V) the path here:

Congratulations, you�ve shared a screenshot by uploading it!

But sometimes, it's best to share a link to an online file.

Here�s how, using Google Drive, which is free:

1 In your web browser, navigate to Google Drive and upload the screenshot:

2 Right-click the uploaded image, then click Get link.

The link is copied to the Windows clipboard, ready for pasting (CTRL + V) into an email, document or web page. That's it!

As a bonus, the screenshot will also be available on your smart phone via the Google Drive app!

Other cloud services, such as Drop Box and Microsoft Azure, work similarly.

Two new programs block screen capture.

Two new security programs block screen capture, DataMask by AOL and McAfee Live Safe. But it�s easy to turn off these unwanted "features".
