Uploading recordings to the web

Method 1 - simplest:

1 Convert the recording to GIF format.

2 Using your web page editing software, insert the GIF file into the page.

After being fully downloaded, the recording will play inside the web page with no player required.

Method 2 - better for large recordings:

1 Convert the recording to WMV format.

2 Upload the WMV file to your website.

3 Place a link to the file on your web page.

After being fully downloaded, the recording will play in your visitor's default media player.

Method 3 - simple steaming video:

1 Upload the recording to a video sharing service such as YouTube.

2 Place a link to the file on your web page.

The recording is "streamed" from the video sharing service. It begins playing quickly, without the need to first be fully downloaded.

Method 4 - full control streaming:

1 Install video streaming software on your server.

2 Insert a video streaming player inside your web page.

3 Convert the recording to a format compatible with your choice of server and player.

4 Upload the converted file.
